Description
The Senior Claims Handler will resolve moderate-to-high complexity and exposure claims through coverage analysis, liability assessment, quantum analysis, investigation, reserving, negotiation, mediation, and litigation. The role manages experts and outside counsel, coordinates stakeholders, prepares coverage and case reports, presents to senior claims leaders and underwriters, and provides technical training. It requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, at least five years of claims or general insurance experience, and strong analytical, negotiation, vendor-management, policy-interpretation, and communication skills.
