Description
The Westchester Casualty Senior Claim Specialist is an individual-contributor claim handler responsible for investigating and settling high-exposure, high-severity surplus lines claims, including environmental, GL, construction liability, professional liability, and product recall claims. The role analyzes coverage and liability, directs expert and defense-counsel assignments, sets reserves, manages litigation, and provides customer service to insureds, brokers, and claimants. It requires a bachelor’s degree, at least three years of casualty claim-handling experience, and experience with severity exposure claims; a JD is preferred. The pay range is $83,600 to $119,900, with possible discretionary annual incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.
