The role manages study design, protocols, site selection, initiation, enrollment, monitoring, compliance, data accuracy, investigator and vendor relationships, study reporting, publications, regulatory submissions, and post-market research. It requires extensive clinical research experience, advanced scientific or bioengineering education, and the ability to travel 25–40%.
