Description
AWS is hiring a Network Product Development Engineer to design, validate, and qualify physical interconnect hardware for its global network. The role manages vendors and manufacturers, develops fiber and structured-cabling standards, automates hardware testing, partners with ODMs, troubleshoots build and commissioning issues, and improves network reliability. It requires an engineering or physics degree, at least three years of relevant hardware or networking experience, and expertise with transceivers, active electrical cables, DACs, IEEE standards, test automation, and product lifecycle management.
