Description
A Zurich-based consulting role responsible for designing, implementing, and operating modern cloud data analytics platforms across customer projects. The Senior Cloud Data Engineer builds data pipelines and cloud infrastructure for ingestion, streaming, batch processing, extraction, and transformation; collaborates with architects, data engineers, scientists, business analysts, customers, and providers; supports presales; coaches team members; and contributes to data engineering standards and reusable platform components. The role requires substantial experience with Python, Java or Scala, SQL, dbt, Spark, Kafka, cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, Databricks and Kubernetes, infrastructure automation, databases, data modeling, governance, and software delivery practices.
