Fastly is hiring a Senior Cloud Engineer to act as a resident architect for strategic customers, helping them adopt and optimize Fastly’s edge cloud, CDN, logging, image optimization, and VCL technologies. The role involves post-sales implementation, troubleshooting, recommending improvements, introducing new products, supporting customer strategies, and presenting technical solutions to technical and business stakeholders. It requires 5+ years of relevant sales engineering, web development, DevOps, technical account management, or solutions architecture experience, along with networking, cloud, Linux, scripting, and customer-facing technical skills. The position is open to remote workers in the Pacific Timezone, follows a largely hybrid model, and may require travel.
