A Zurich-based consulting role for a Senior Cloud Data Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and operating modern cloud data platforms and high-quality data pipelines across customer projects. The position involves data ingestion, streaming, batch processing, transformation, data modeling, governance, cloud infrastructure, stakeholder coordination, pre-sales support, and coaching team members. Candidates need a relevant university degree, extensive experience with Python, Java or Scala, SQL, dbt, Spark, Kafka, Azure, AWS, Databricks, Kubernetes, Terraform, databases, and software development lifecycle practices, plus very good German and English.
