Description
The Senior Cloud Engineer will maintain, optimize, and automate storage and backup systems in a mainframe environment, including z/OS, DASD, VTS, and tape systems. The role covers data availability, integrity, capacity planning, file-system management, incident resolution, performance optimization, and support for mainframe infrastructure modernization. Candidates need a computer science degree or comparable qualification, mainframe systems knowledge, system-programming or comparable technical expertise, scripting and automation skills, and experience with mainframe storage architectures.
