Description
Lambda is hiring a Cloud Foundations Engineer to build and operate the account, access, network, governance, and Terraform execution platform for its AWS cloud infrastructure. The role owns IAM and permission models, VPC and transit network design, DNS, compliance guardrails, cost visibility, least-privilege automation, and self-service provisioning, while helping define the new Cloud Foundations team. It requires 6+ years of cloud infrastructure, platform, or security engineering experience, deep AWS and Terraform expertise, cloud networking fundamentals, and automation in Go or Python. The position is based in the San Francisco, San Jose, or Bellevue office four days per week, with Tuesday as the designated work-from-home day.
