Description

Lantern is hiring a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to architect, implement, and operate a secure, scalable, multi-region Azure cloud platform supporting healthcare solutions. The role focuses on infrastructure automation with Terraform, CI/CD with Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions, monitoring, incident response, cost optimization, disaster recovery, compliance, documentation, and mentoring. It is a hybrid position requiring at least three days per week in the Dallas, Texas offices, with a monthly on-call schedule.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Required Previous Experiences: 4+ years of cloud infrastructure engineering experience
3+ years of hands-on Microsoft Azure experience
Experience designing, deploying, and managing scalable cloud infrastructure
Experience configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions
Experience in a regulated environment, ideally healthcare with HIPAA and/or SOC compliance
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with AWS or Google Cloud Platform
Strong Terraform experience for Azure infrastructure automation
Experience managing Azure App Services, networking, and storage
Experience with Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service
Relevant Azure certifications
