Intel is hiring a Senior Cloud Software Development Engineer for its Communication Runtimes team in Hillsboro, Oregon, with an additional location in Austin, Texas. The role focuses on developing and optimizing Intel's oneCCL collective communications library for high-performance computing, Intel GPUs and CPUs, the Aurora supercomputer, scientific computing, and machine learning. Responsibilities include communication library development, protocol implementation, performance benchmarking, hardware-software debugging, and cross-functional collaboration. Candidates need a master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related STEM field, at least three years of software development, Linux, and C/C++ experience, plus expertise in one or more specialized HPC, distributed computing, GPU, communications-library, or network-stack areas.
