Description
BAE Systems is hiring a Senior Combat Systems Engineer within its Warship Technical Authority and Warship Support organization. The role provides combat systems engineering support across Royal Navy surface ship, international naval, and consultancy programmes, covering combat management systems, sensors, effectors, networks, weapons systems, design integrity, systems integration, investigations, configuration control, safety-case evidence, certification submissions, obsolescence management, and future support planning. It is a hybrid role based at Portsmouth Naval Base and Portsmouth Broad Oak, requiring 3–4 days per week on site, and is open to current BAE Systems employees who have been in their role for at least 12 months.
