Description
The Senior Commissioning Technologist works under the Commissioning Manager, focusing on commissioning and testing primary and secondary power equipment in the field. This involves maintaining medium to high-voltage substation power delivery equipment like breakers, switchgears, circuit breakers, relays, and transformers. The role also entails mentoring junior technologists by teaching them how to read and interpret prints, manage risk, and adhere to industry best practices. Additionally, the Senior Commissioning Technologist sets up and operates specialized test equipment to diagnose and analyze the performance of power delivery equipment.
