Description
Rising Edge Group is hiring a Senior Commissioning Technologist to perform field commissioning, testing, maintenance, and diagnosis of medium- to high-voltage substation equipment and protection and control systems. The role includes testing equipment from 600V to 500kV, working with relays, transformers, breakers, switches, SCADA, control circuits, and specialized manufacturer test equipment; interpreting drawings and test results; recommending corrective actions; and supervising, mentoring, and training junior technicians. It is a full-time permanent safety-sensitive position based in Calgary or Edmonton, Alberta, with local regional work, travel opportunities, rotational schedules, and out-of-town accommodations or living allowances.
