Microsoft is hiring a Senior Communications Manager for its AI Communications team to lead communications around frontier model launches, research releases, product integrations, and other major technical moments. The role develops launch strategies and messaging, prepares executives and technical leaders, builds relationships with media, creators, developers, researchers, and industry thought leaders, translates complex AI concepts into compelling stories, and supports integrated communications across researchers, engineers, product, marketing, social, legal, policy, and communications teams. The position requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 4+ years of communications, marketing operations, field operations, program management, project management, or related experience, with additional experience in high-profile technology launches and AI communications preferred. The typical U.S. base pay range is USD $106,400-$203,600 per year, with higher ranges for the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area.
