emerchantpay is hiring a Senior Compliance Officer / Senior In-House Legal Counsel to develop, implement, and review compliance policies; monitor e-commerce, payments, and card-scheme regulations; advise on products and services; negotiate agreements; manage regulatory monitoring and remediation; coordinate training; and serve as the primary contact for supervisory authorities. The role requires a law, finance, economics, or related degree, at least five years of relevant experience, knowledge of UK and EU payment regulations, C1 English, and strong analytical and organisational skills. It is a hybrid position based in Sofia, with three office days and two remote days per week.
