Description

Blue Origin is hiring a Senior Configuration Engineer in its Lunar Permanence business unit to shape the next-generation architecture of the MK1 Cargo Lander while owning configuration management and integration integrity for the current vehicle baseline. The role leads architecture-level trade studies, configuration control and Engineering Change Request disposition, subsystem interface definition, design reviews, and cross-functional technical decision-making across structures, fluids, thermal, GN&C, avionics, manufacturing, production engineering, and supply chain. Candidates need an engineering degree and 10+ years of relevant spacecraft or launch-vehicle experience, or a master's degree with 8+ years, plus expertise in vehicle structural, mechanical, or cryogenic upper-stage design, 3-D CAD, configuration control, and aerospace manufacturing realities.
