Description
Michael Baker International is hiring a Senior Construction Inspector to support transportation infrastructure projects in Connecticut and the surrounding region. The role involves inspecting highway, bridge, facilities, railroad, and transit construction; verifying compliance with permits, plans, specifications, and contracts; monitoring contractor work and materials; documenting quantities, quality control, change orders, and project closeout; and coordinating with project stakeholders. Candidates need a civil engineering or related bachelor’s degree or equivalent CMIT/NICET credentials, at least six years of transportation infrastructure inspection experience, and CTDOT CE&I experience including four years of field inspection. The position offers a compensation range of $115,000 to $175,000 and medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other benefits.
