Wood is recruiting a Senior Control System Engineer for its Iraq business unit to design, configure, test, and commission control and automation systems. The role is full-time and on-site in Basra, Iraq, with a 28*28 rotation and travel requirements. Responsibilities include developing IEC 61131-3 control logic, performing system integration testing and FAT/SAT, configuring Modbus, Profibus, and HART interfaces, supporting lifecycle maintenance and upgrades, and participating in alarm rationalisation and tuning. The posting seeks a candidate with at least 10 years of experience, a bachelor’s degree in engineering, and experience with PCS and SIS platforms, process-control networking, and HMI and historian integration.
