Description
Durin is hiring a Senior Controls Engineer to own PLC controls for automated mineral-discovery drill rigs. The role involves architecting and programming Siemens-based PLC systems, implementing sequencing, state machines, PID loops, safety interlocks, alarms, HMI interfaces, and industrial networking, then commissioning and debugging the systems on physical heavy-equipment rigs. The engineer will collaborate across mechanical, electrical, and software teams, mentor teammates, travel to test sites approximately 20–50% of the time, and work from Durin’s headquarters in El Segundo with extended hours and weekends as needed. Compensation is $150,000–$180,000 annually plus equity, with 100% medical, dental, and vision coverage.
