GILLIG is hiring a Senior Controls Engineer to lead the development, testing, validation, release, and continuous improvement of control algorithms for critical vehicle-body systems across its transit bus platforms. The role covers HVAC, lighting, doors, ramps, safety systems, power distribution, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and control-development processes, and is an on-site position at the Livermore, California plant. Candidates need a bachelor's or advanced engineering degree, at least five years of relevant vehicle design or controls experience, and expertise with CAN-Bus, LIN, Ethernet, ladder logic, C/C++, and model-based development. The position offers an annual salary of $128,000 to $165,000 plus premium benefits.
