Description
LAPORTE is hiring a full-time Senior Controls Engineer to design, program, manage, and commission automation projects for pharmaceutical and food and beverage industries. The role leads control-panel, network, and software specifications; prepares construction packages; mentors project teams; performs site surveys and installation support; and handles troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning. It requires a relevant bachelor’s degree, at least six years of control-systems or consulting-design experience, and proficiency with Rockwell Automation PLC, HMI, SCADA, and AutoCAD tools. The position may require 1–3 days of initial site visits and 1–4 weeks of commissioning travel, with overall travel expected at 20–40%.
