JR Automation is hiring a full-time Senior Controls Engineer for an onsite role in Nashville, Tennessee. The position leads the full lifecycle of custom automation builds, including PLC and HMI programming, robotics, vision systems, SCADA, machine startups, debugging, commissioning, and acceptance. The engineer will design control architectures, support multiple projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor engineers, and travel up to 25% to customer and company sites. The role requires a bachelor’s or associate’s degree with related experience, 10+ years of controls or automation experience, and 2+ years leading technical projects.
