J.G. Kern Enterprises Inc. is hiring a Senior Controls Engineer in Sterling Heights, Michigan for a full-time, experienced role supporting precision CNC machining and assembly operations. The engineer will lead automation projects from concept through production launch, including electrical hardware design, PLC/HMI programming, robotics integration, machine safety, installation, commissioning, validation, and troubleshooting. The role requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience, at least 8 years of industrial controls engineering experience, strong PLC and electrical design skills, and experience leading automation projects; automotive manufacturing experience is required.
