Farther is hiring a backend AI engineer to architect and ship production conversational AI systems for its wealth management platform. The role owns chatbot features from requirements through deployment, using LLMs, RAG pipelines, and agentic workflows; it also requires guardrails, authorization, testing, observability, reliability, and collaboration with product, data engineering, and business stakeholders. The ideal candidate has at least five years of backend-focused software engineering experience, production conversational AI experience, strong Python and SQL skills, and enterprise delivery experience.
