OCI is hiring a Principal Software Engineer to design, implement, and operate distributed control-plane and observability software for data center and WAN network orchestration. The role develops algorithms for route computation, congestion management, fault isolation, traffic steering, and recovery; builds scalable, fault-tolerant, secure, and highly available services; correlates network and infrastructure signals; and drives incident analysis across distributed systems. The position requires strong networking, distributed-systems, Java/Go/Rust, and AI/ML experience, and offers a US hiring range of $79,200 to $209,500 per annum with bonus and equity eligibility.
