Oracle is hiring a Senior Core Infrastructure Engineer for its OCI Virtual Networking Dataplane team. The role owns major dataplane features from design through production support, developing high-performance C and C++ components for packet processing, routing, NAT, network gateways, security enforcement, distributed systems, and fault tolerance. Responsibilities include optimizing performance, developing tests and observability tools, troubleshooting Linux and networking issues, participating in production on-call, improving automation and infrastructure-as-code, and collaborating across engineering and operations teams. The role is a hands-on senior software development position with a U.S. hiring range of $79,200 to $209,500 per annum, plus potential bonus and equity.
