Description
AECOM is hiring a Senior Cost Estimator for its Mining and Industrial projects team. The role covers cost estimating across the mining project lifecycle, including labor, materials, equipment, logistics, contingency, escalation, and risk; preparing estimates for conceptual through construction phases; taking off materials and equipment; developing indirect assumptions; benchmarking contractor and vendor pricing; supporting CAPEX/OPEX budgets; and leading estimate reconciliation and risk assessments. The position may be based in any of AECOM’s Canadian offices and requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field plus eight years of related cost estimating experience, with mining or industrial experience preferred.
