Description
The role focuses on product development cost engineering and value engineering for thermal management, chassis, and battery systems. Responsibilities include analyzing technical and cost parameters, calculating product costs, proposing cost optimization and target-cost solutions, preparing technical and costing reports, and coordinating with OEMs, suppliers, and global technical or costing experts. The position requires more than five years of experience in relevant product-development or cost-engineering domains, knowledge of manufacturing technologies and cost drivers, BOM or VAVE experience, a bachelor's degree or higher in a related engineering field, and strong communication and teamwork skills.
