CSX is hiring an Environmental Attorney for its Law Department in Jacksonville, Florida. The role provides strategic legal counsel on federal and state environmental laws, manages complex litigation, regulatory investigations, administrative proceedings, and enforcement actions, advises on environmental issues in real estate, commercial, and corporate transactions, directs outside counsel, and negotiates environmental agreements. The position requires a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school, at least five years of legal experience with substantial environmental law responsibility, active membership in a U.S. state bar, and experience with environmental regulatory compliance, investigations, enforcement, and litigation.
