Description
The Metropolitan Transportation Authority is hiring a Senior Counsel, Transactions – Special Projects to provide legal, transactional, and strategic advice on complex real estate, construction, transportation, regulatory, and business projects. The role structures and negotiates contracts, manages due diligence and deal execution, coordinates with internal and external stakeholders, and supports litigation, policy, and regulatory matters. It is based at the MTA headquarters in Jamaica, New York, with one day of telework per week, and offers Level I, II, or III positions with progressively greater responsibility. Candidates must have a New York-licensed JD and at least five years of relevant law firm, public sector, or in-house legal experience.
