Description
Hanzo is hiring a full-time Senior Crawl Engineer for its professional services team, reporting to the Senior Manager of Professional Services. The role is based in the United States or United Kingdom and is 100% remote. Responsibilities include configuring and managing crawls, developing custom crawler code, monitoring service-level agreements, troubleshooting issues, translating customer feedback into software improvements, maintaining internal and open-source software, supporting junior engineers, and solving technical and operational problems. The position requires 2–4 years of software development or operations experience, Python and JavaScript coding experience, Unix/Linux scripting, HTTP and web knowledge, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.
