Description
D-Wave is hiring a Senior Cryogenic Systems Engineer for its Hardware Engineering Department to lead the design, testing, integration, commissioning, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of cryogenic systems for quantum computers. The role requires a bachelor's or advanced degree in a relevant engineering discipline and at least five years of experience with complex cryogenic systems, dilution refrigerators, cryostats, or comparable ultra-low-temperature systems. Responsibilities include cross-functional project leadership, root-cause analysis, documentation, mentoring, and collaboration with mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, service, supply chain, and other engineering teams. The position requires participation in a rotating on-call schedule, flexibility for work outside regular business hours, and travel of up to approximately 10% to customer sites across North America and Europe. The base pay range is 133,000–183,000 CAD per year in Burnaby.
