Description
IonQ is hiring a Staff Cryptography Engineer to develop post-quantum cryptography software for HSM and network-appliance products. The role focuses on reference models, optimized implementations, and test infrastructure for ML-KEM, ML-DSA, and SLH-DSA/LMS; constant-time cryptographic functions; NIST ACVP/CAVP certification tooling; and algorithm decomposition for hardware and firmware teams. The position is onsite in Geneva, Switzerland and requires a master’s degree in a relevant field, at least five years of experience implementing cryptographic algorithms or security-critical software in C/C++ or Rust, and strong knowledge of modern cryptographic primitives.
