ASML’s San Diego-based Cymer division is hiring a Senior CS Technical Support Engineer to provide technical support for DUV laser products used in integrator and chipmaker operations. The role diagnoses and repairs laser systems, handles escalated field issues, supports new product introduction, develops diagnostics and troubleshooting procedures, trains field teams, and collaborates with engineering and service teams. Candidates need a technical bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, at least 2–5 years of relevant experience, and knowledge of electronics, software, mechanical engineering, optics, and DUV equipment. The position requires approximately 20% travel, weekend 12-hour on-call shifts, and work in clean-room production or laboratory environments. The current base annual salary range is $125,600–$172,700, with medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance benefits.
