Description

MANTECH is hiring a full-time Senior Cyber Security Analyst in Springfield, Virginia, supporting national-security defensive cyber operations through threat detection, network and system analysis, incident triage, remediation, documentation, trend analysis, and reporting. The role requires an active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent IT experience, at least five years of cybersecurity experience, and IAT Level II certification. It follows a 24x7 four-ten shift schedule and offers a projected compensation range of $114,600 to $190,200, along with health insurance and other benefits.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of additional IT experience in lieu of a degree
Required Previous Experiences: 5+ years of cybersecurity experience
Experience with SIEM tools
Experience monitoring and analyzing security events, network traffic, system logs, and security telemetry
Preferred Qualifications: CSSP-IR certification, CEH, or CySA+
Experience analyzing network packet captures, firewall and proxy logs, DNS traffic, authentication logs, endpoint telemetry, and system events
Knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK framework and ability to map observed activity to adversary TTPs
Ability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate resources in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with senior management
