Description
BOYLE Sports is hiring a Senior Cyber Security Engineer for its Cyber Defence team in Dundalk, Ireland, or Ireland remote with occasional attendance at the Dundalk headquarters. The role is full time with an on-call rotation and focuses on hands-on detection engineering, threat hunting, incident response, SOAR automation, MSSP partnership, and purple-team validation. The engineer will build and tune detections across XDR, cloud, identity, endpoint, network, and application sources; investigate escalated alerts; lead containment and eradication during P1 and P2 incidents; and automate response tooling. Required experience includes senior SOC, detection engineering, threat hunting, or incident response work, along with SIEM/XDR, AWS, Python, and MITRE ATT&CK knowledge.
