Description
Social Security Scotland is hiring a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to design, implement, and assure cloud security controls across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments. The role leads secure architecture, risk assessments, threat modelling, identity and access management, vulnerability management, monitoring, incident response, automated compliance, and secure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code. It is a fixed-term appointment of 47 months with possible permanency, based in Dundee or Glasgow with a hybrid working pattern requiring at least two days per week in the assigned office. The role requires National Security Vetting clearance and offers a £4,000 annual GDD pay supplement.
