VMD Corp, now part of Xcelerate Solutions, is hiring a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to support the Transportation Security Administration’s Office of Information Technology and its mission-critical systems. The role leads security initiatives, assesses and responds to security risks, translates NIST, DHS, and TSA standards into actionable tasks, implements security improvements, and provides technical guidance across IT projects. It requires 15+ years of IT and cybersecurity experience, a CISSP or CISM certification, experience with security development lifecycle, DevSecOps, CI/CD, programming, and operating systems, and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. The position is hybrid in Annapolis Junction, Maryland, with limited travel and periodic on-call coverage.
