Microsoft's Detection and Response Team is hiring a Senior Cybersecurity Incident Coordinator to independently coordinate customer-facing cybersecurity incidents and concurrent operational workstreams. The role manages staffing and capacity, escalations, stakeholder communications, status reporting, follow-the-sun handovers, and operational improvements while working with investigation leads, threat hunters, and other technical specialists. Candidates need a relevant degree or equivalent practical experience, at least five years of industry experience, cybersecurity operational fluency, and flexibility for non-standard shifts; Australian citizenship verification and applicable security screenings are required.
