Description
The Senior Data & AI Platform Engineer will design, build, operate, and evolve VELUX’s Snowflake-based data platform, dbt, GenAI Hub, AI Gateway, Cortex Agents, and related AI capabilities. The role owns platform architecture, engineering standards, reliability, scalability, security, observability, access management, developer experience, FinOps, and governance while mentoring Data Engineers and AI Solutions Partners. Candidates need at least five years of experience with production-grade data platforms, deep Snowflake and dbt expertise, Python, SQL, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, modern AI and LLM infrastructure, data mesh, semantic modelling, and data contracts.
