Description

Amazon is hiring a Senior Data & Analytics Engineer for its Amazon LEO Battery organization in Redmond, Washington. The role owns data infrastructure, analytics, and engineering tools that connect battery development, testing, manufacturing, and production data; it focuses on scalable pipelines, unified data models, end-to-end traceability, automated processing and reporting, data quality, APIs, dashboards, and engineering applications. The position requires at least five years of professional software development, programming, architecture, and engineering-team leadership experience, along with a relevant bachelor's degree or higher. The base salary is 168,100.00 to 227,400.00 USD annually, with health insurance and other benefits.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Required Previous Experiences: 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language
5+ years leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team lead
Experience developing scalable data pipelines, databases, data models, APIs, or engineering data platforms
Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines, data validation, schema design, and integration of multiple data sources
Experience translating engineering or customer requirements into scalable software, data, or analytics solutions
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Master's degree or above in computer science, engineering, mathematics, analytics, statistics, IT, or equivalent

Experience integrating data with MES, manufacturing traceability, quality management, laboratory, or equipment-monitoring systems
