Description
Apple is hiring a Data and Applied AI Engineer for its iCloud team to build large-scale distributed data pipelines, backend services, LLM-powered applications, and intelligent agents. The role owns rich datasets, applies data architecture and privacy principles, and partners with cross-functional teams to turn business needs into scalable data solutions. Candidates need at least 8 years of experience with Spark and other distributed data technologies, proficiency in Java, Python, or Scala and strong SQL skills, expertise in data architecture and modeling, experience with LLMs and AI agents, and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent data engineering experience.
