Microsoft is hiring a Senior Data Scientist to drive product and program analytics for Microsoft skilling experiences, including AI Skills Navigator. The role focuses on learner journeys, funnel and retention analysis, product metrics, experimentation, causal measurement, telemetry, competency and skill modeling, and learning-content evaluation. The scientist will partner with Product, Engineering, Design, User Research, Sales, Marketing, and Finance, mentor other data scientists, and ensure privacy and consent compliance. The position offers a typical U.S. base pay range of USD $119,800–$234,700 per year, with higher ranges for the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan areas.
