Description
Microsoft is hiring a Software Engineer IC4 for its AI for Good Research Lab to design and implement cloud architectures and cloud-based solutions for applied AI scenarios. The role partners with data scientists, engineers, and researchers; uses AI tools across the software development lifecycle; provides technical architecture guidance; supports security reviews and service issues; and represents capabilities to internal and external audiences. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field and at least four years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python. Preferred qualifications include experience with Azure AI services, TensorFlow, PyTorch, agile practices, service-oriented architectures, REST, and production proof-of-concept or minimum-viable-product deployments. The typical U.S. base pay range is USD 119,800–234,700 per year, with higher ranges for the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area.
