Description
BlackRock is hiring a Data Engineer for its Post Trade Accounting (PTA) engineering team to build resilient, enterprise-scale data systems. The role focuses on designing canonical data models, creating analytics-ready datasets in Snowflake, developing reliable batch and near-real-time ELT/ETL pipelines, establishing data quality and observability practices, optimizing performance and cost, and publishing data to downstream systems. Candidates need a B.S. or M.S. in a relevant discipline or equivalent practical experience, at least 8 years of production data-system experience, strong SQL and Snowflake or Microsoft SQL Server skills, data-modeling expertise, and experience with ELT/ETL pipelines and a general-purpose programming language. The position is in New York, offers a USD 162,000–215,000 salary range, includes a discretionary bonus and healthcare benefits, and requires employees to work at least four days per week in the office.
