BAE Systems is hiring a Senior Data Architect in Preston or Frimley to align data and analytics initiatives with enterprise goals and lead the Data & Analytics Data Architecture Office. The role defines and governs data architecture practices, enterprise data models, data-layer strategies, data-lake medallion architecture, conceptual, logical, and physical data models, and roadmaps for data warehouses and lakes. It also supports large transformation projects by creating reusable data-architecture artifacts. The position requires a STEM degree or equivalent, IT-related experience, information or data architecture development experience, and experience with information or data analysis in large-scale business systems. The role offers hybrid and flexible working arrangements and pays up to £70,000 per annum.
