Microsoft is hiring a Senior Data Center Technician to provide hands-on support for secure access workstations, laptops, servers, and conference room audio/visual systems in data center environments. The role includes troubleshooting hardware and software, deploying and maintaining devices, managing spare-parts inventory, applying operating-system and security updates, supporting equipment lifecycle activities, completing service tickets, and mentoring less experienced technicians. The position requires a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent plus basic computer hardware knowledge and at least two years of IT equipment support experience; visa sponsorship is not available. The typical U.S. base pay range is USD 34.13–56.54 per hour, with higher ranges in the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area.
