Avathon is hiring a Senior Data Engineer for its Engineering team to build and optimize large-scale data architectures and ETL workflows supporting renewable-energy analytics, machine learning, forecasting, predictive maintenance, and grid optimization. The role involves managing data from IoT, PLC, SCADA, cloud, and on-premise systems; modernizing data platforms; and leading data engineering projects and teams. Candidates need a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant technical field, at least five years of experience designing large-scale data platforms, two years leading or mentoring data engineers, and hands-on experience with Python, big data tools, cloud platforms, and data pipelines.
