Description

BasisPath is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale data ingestion, processing, integration, and analytics pipelines for government customers. The role involves cloud-native and hybrid data solutions, automated data workflows, secure data platforms, software tools, and technology assessments, with a requirement for U.S. citizenship, an active TS/SCI clearance, and 100% on-site work. Required qualifications include experience with Java or Python, Elasticsearch and Kibana, Apache NiFi, AWS, distributed computing, Linux and Windows, SQL, and large-scale data management.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
Required Previous Experiences: Experience supporting Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, or other federal government programs.
Experience developing software applications using Java and/or Python.
Experience with Elasticsearch and Kibana.
Experience with Apache NiFi for enterprise data flow management.
Experience designing and maintaining enterprise-scale data integration architectures and automated pipelines.
Experience with cloud computing platforms and cloud-based data management solutions, including AWS.
